MoonAlert! New Moon in Gemini Horoscopes

Plant the seeds of intention during June's

 New Moon

New Moon in Gemini Horoscopes

The airy Gemini New Moon on June 16, 2015, informs us that we can't rest on previous accomplishments.

We are in an information-gathering phase and we must remain open to the incoming stream of data. Even if we grow weary and want to shut out the noise, resistance is futile because the intensity of this New Moon is fired up by its conjunction with red-hot Mars. There's little we can do but fully engage the present moment.

However, the changeable Gemini New Moon is also a harbinger of intriguing distractions that complicate our decision-making process. Every separate event seems like the most significant one, yet each one takes its turn in the spotlight and then quickly fades away. Our lesson is about impermanence. Although initiating action is wise while superhero Mars is in the picture, this moment, too, shall pass. It's time to plant our seeds of intention now and nurture them over the days ahead.

Aries Horoscope (March 21 - April 19)

The noisy Gemini New Moon joins forces with your ruling planet Mars in your 3rd House of Information, filling your mind with data that can actually prevent you from seeking the deeper meaning of your experiences. There are so many things you want to start that you can't keep up with your own agenda. You may be preoccupied with all the external commotion, while wishing you had a chance to seek the pleasures you believe are waiting for you somewhere nearby. Keep your dreams alive by talking about them when you can. Don't lose hope; your time will come sooner than you think.

Taurus Horoscope (April 20 - May 20)

You're unabashedly concerned about money with the Gemini New Moon activating your 2nd House of Resources. Unfortunately, you might not be able to fully relax until your material world feels secure. It's quite disconcerting if you're consumed by the realization that you're not as financially comfortable as you wish. But nothing is preventing you from reconsidering where to go next. You must make a choice; you can always change your mind along the way. Prosperity is yours for the taking.

Gemini Horoscope (May 21 - June 20)

If you're all tangled up in your thoughts, remember that curiosity is a common Gemini trait and you need to play out all the alternatives before narrowing it down to just one. However, the inquisitive New Moon in your sign prompts you to obsess over irrelevant details. It's natural to feel a bit lost in your own mental maze, but you're perfectly safe and exactly where you need to be. Ruthlessly exploring every option available empowers you to make the best choice for your future.

Cancer Horoscope (June 21 - July 22)

Your powerful dreams serve a very important purpose, and you would quickly lose interest in your future without the inspiration they provide. You often look back to the past when you are worried about what's ahead, but the mischievous Gemini New Moon dancing in your 12th House of Destiny may have your fantasies working on overdrive. Try not to push your current concerns away; instead, embrace your thoughts as messages from within. But be ready to take them to the next level by giving yourself permission to reach for the stars.

Leo Horoscope (July 23 - Aug. 22)

If you're struggling to hold on to the status quo at work, it's helpful to reassess your goals while the clever Gemini New Moon is triggering your 11th House of Dreams and Wishes. Your mental agility enables you to run circles around others. However, you must also be willing to learn something new about yourself or people will think you're just playing games. There's no need to bluff your way through the situation as long as you stay open to the lessons at hand. Being a student of life keeps you in touch with the wonders of the world.

Virgo Horoscope (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

Others are supporting your pursuit of a particular professional path while the interactive Gemini New Moon emphasizes your 10th House of Career. However, you have additional goals that might not be recognizable by your current choices. Thankfully, it isn't necessary to reveal your inner conflicts yet. In fact, sharing your true feelings only confuses your coworkers and complicates matters even more. Research your options in the privacy of your own mind before putting them out in the open for everyone to see.

Libra Horoscope (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

You are highly motivated to let go of desires that only have a small chance of being fulfilled as the whimsical Gemini New Moon highlights your 9th House of Big Ideas. You have reached a fork in the road where you're eager to make dramatic changes in order to spice up your life. Even if you're impatient to embark on your next adventure, you still have to put your plans in order. Don't sweat the small stuff; concentrate on your exciting long-term goals rather than the tedious details of the day.

Scorpio Horoscope (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

Be careful about complicating a tricky situation as the scattered Gemini New Moon influences your 8th House of Intimacy. You are fueled by an insatiable desire to explain the unexplainable as you drive toward achieving your lofty goals. Your current assumption that the outcome will be an all-or-nothing one muddies the waters even more. The best way to avoid problems in the future is to be honest in the present. Keep all communication channels clear of any possible misunderstandings by being more transparent in all of your interactions.

Sagittarius Horoscope (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

You could be struggling to find a healthy balance between pursuing your dreams and living up to everyone else's expectations. The dualistic Gemini New Moon falls in your 7th House of Relationships, tempting you to leave your fate in the hands of others. Your current dilemma stems from your illusion that you can have it both ways. Thankfully, your diplomatic skills rise to the occasion, but you still must eventually make your choice because you can't serve two masters at once. Don't get swept up in the moment and rush your decision; allow plenty of time for your inner voice to make itself heard.

Capricorn Horoscope (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

A coworker might believe you are acting selfishly, but you know that you must attend to your own needs before you can truly help those around you. You may feel a bit overwhelmed with everything that's going on; you won't be much good to yourself or anyone else until you establish a workable rhythm in your everyday life. Nevertheless, the information-rich Gemini New Moon lands in your 6th House of Daily Routine, enabling you to increase your efficiency so you have the time and energy to be of service to others.

Aquarius Horoscope (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

You may be so quick to change your story for each new audience that it's hard to know where you stand on any given subject. The flexible Gemini New Moon inspires your 5th House of Romance, motivating you to share your heart's desires. But don't be overly concerned about impressing anyone with your song and dance; if you please yourself, everyone else will jump on your bandwagon. Being loved starts with learning to love yourself more.

Pisces Horoscope (Feb. 19 - March 20)

You're highly protective of your home and family because subconsciously you realize that everything can't stay the same forever. The fickle Gemini New Moon occupies your 4th House of Foundations, prompting you to overcompensate and justify your behavior as you cling to familiar feelings. Ironically, it's your attachment to the past that destabilizes the present. Instead of resisting the inevitable, become a secret agent of change.

Don't Panic AstroAlert! Neptune goes Retrograde!

as I said....

Don't Panic AstroAlert! Neptune goes Retrograde!

DON'T Panic!

(plus -Top 5 reasons to rejoice as nebulous
 Neptune spins backward )

Don't tense up! Yes, Neptune is retrograde from June 12 - November 18, 2015, but it's nothing to worry about. Certainly, this five-month event will take its toll in some way -- but instead of requiring our patience, it will simply require us to get real.

When most planets turn “retrograde” (or appear to move backward), it’s as though they’re flipping a switch to shake up everything they stand for. Neptune is the dreamy planet that, at its best, makes us see beyond the tangible world and explore spirituality, faith and fantasy. The dark side of Neptune is that its love of illusion can inspire us to escape to alternate realities we’ve created for ourselves -- a.k.a. delusions.

Yes, Neptune can encourage us to live in denial. We all have specific fears and hangups we don’t want to deal with -- perhaps you ignore nagging financial issues or tell yourself that your less-than-satisfying romantic relationship is exactly what you need. Chances are, Neptune is behind any excuses you invent to support these ideas.

But when Neptune goes backward, it can feel like we’ve had a bucket of cold water splashed on our faces. Because Neptune’s dreamy edge usually allows us to gloss over unpleasant truths (like credit card balances or red flags in our relationships), its move backward gives us the opposite: A harsh wake-up call.

Another way to think about this catalyzing cosmic event? Neptune Direct allows us to keep external factors at arm’s length and escape into our own inner worlds, while Neptune Retrograde makes the focus internal, forcing us to question any new dreams we’ve been entertaining so we can separate what’s realistic from what’s overly romantic.

For example, let’s say you’ve been in a committed relationship for many years, and it’s grown stale and feels less like passion, more like habit. Neptune Retrograde will force you to prove why you and your partner should still be together, and if you can’t re-ignite that original spark, you’ll feel the need to make a change.

Alternately, let’s say you recently fell head over heels for someone you’ve known only a few months but who you’re convinced is your soul mate … and the two of you have decided to move in together. When dreamy Neptune throws the lights on, you’ll have to ask practical questions, like, “How well do I really know this person? Am I truly prepared to merge my daily routine with theirs? What’s my back-up plan if this doesn’t work out?”

Of course, only you can truly answer these questions for yourself, and the beauty of Neptune Retrograde is that it puts the pressure on to re-evaluate. Once you think long and hard, you’ll either realize you were fooling yourself -- or that you’re onto something that feels right. Neptune Retrograde gives you pause for thought.

Neptune Retrograde

Top 5 reasons Neptune Retrograde rules:

1. You no longer ignore things like bad relationships or being in debt.
2. You have the ability to stop dreaming and starting DOING.
3. You are able to figure out what's real and what's fantasy.
4. You can think more clearly and plan more carefully for the future.
5. You will re-evaluate what's truly important to you! (Tarot.com)

Top 7 Reasons To Be Cheerful In June

There is even more reasons to rejoice than Mercury Direct....and we all know that THAT is A REALLY good reason to be happy... Sally Kirkman made a list!

1. Jupiter Trine Uranus

[20 Leo/20 Aries] – June 22nd

“Reach high, for stars lie hidden in your soul”.

– When Jupiter, the planet of opportunity, meets Uranus, the planet of surprises, you know this is something special, a lucky event, a breakthrough, a chance to break free.

– In mythology, Jupiter and Uranus were Sky Gods, so look to the skies for inspiration, be expansive, indulge in big thinking. These are future planets so use technology well, set new trends, keep one step ahead of the rest of the pack. Be innovative & unique.

– Both planets are in fire signs, Jupiter in Leo and Uranus in Aries. Fire signs are the initiators of the zodiac, spontaneous & enthusiastic. Take a risk, be entrepreneurial, be lucky.

– This is the 3rd and final trine aspect between these two planets; the 1st took place on September 25th 2014 and the 2nd took place on March 3rd 2015. Look back to these dates for clues on how to make the most of this dynamic duo.

– If you have planets/angles within 2 degrees of 20 Aries/Leo/Sagittarius, this is a glorious breathtaking opportunity for you. Don’t miss out, be adventurous, be bold.

2. Mercury Turns Direct

[4 Gemini 34] – June 11th

– I’m a traditional astrologer so I tend to view Mercury turning direct as the end of the Mercury retrograde phase which began on May 19th. If you hold the modern view and include the ‘Mercury shadow’ phase, you’re out of the woods on June 27th when Mercury gets back to 13 Gemini, the degree at which it turned retrograde.

– I love Mercury turning direct and I often try to push things through a couple of days before. It’s a key turning point in the heavens. Where can you try again? Think second chances, chase up anything that didn’t work out first time around, etc.

– Mercury is powerful in Gemini so be powerful too once Mercury turns direct. Speak with eloquence and authority, join in a debate, be witty & charming, write a persuasive letter/blog/article, use words to your advantage.

– Mercury direct is the green light, the switch flicking from off to on. New information comes to light, you hear the news you’ve been waiting for, plans get the go-ahead. Yee-haa!

3. New Moon Gemini

[25 Gemini 07] - June 16-17

– June 16th (15:05) London
– June 16th (10:05) New York
– June 17th (00:05) Sydney
– Mercury turning direct followed by a New Moon in the same sign is a clear indication to get back on track with all Gemini-related activities, i.e. paperwork, correspondence, important phone calls & emails, sales activities, gathering knowledge, gossip & socialising.

– A New Moon is a brilliant symbol for new beginnings, a chance to start over. Launch a project, set your intentions. When you first catch a glimpse of the crescent Moon in the sky, make a wish, as the New Moon has magic within it. (This happens one or two days after the actual event).

– Red lights turn to green, ‘no’ becomes ‘yes’, all systems go.

4. Venus Enters Leo

 – June 5th

– When Venus joins Jupiter in Leo on June 5th, you have two very important planets in one sign of the zodiac, one sector of your chart. This is because Jupiter and Venus are the benefics of the zodiac, i.e. the two best planets. Jupiter rules luck, opportunity, truth, blessings; Venus rules love, money, sensuality.

– Venus remains in Leo until October 8th, apart from two weeks when she is in Virgo late July. This is an unusually long time for the planet of love and relating to be in one sign of the zodiac as Venus usually takes approximately 1 month to transit each sign.

– Venus in Leo is a love fest as Leo rules celebration and partying and Venus rules love. It’s time to be gloriously demonstrative, to express yourself, to wear your heart on your sleeve, to be generous and giving in love and relationships, to be happy & indulge in fun and activities that you feel passionate about. It’s a creative combination that’s both attractive and attracting. Give and ye shall receive. Love who you are, love the one you’re with.

5. Solstice Party

– June 21st

– The Solstices are important markers in the year as they pinpoint the longest and shortest days of the year. This is the Summer Solstice in the northern hemisphere and the Winter Solstice in the souther hemisphere. Solstice means ‘sun standing still’ as the axis of the earth shifts heralding a new season on earth.

– The Solstices have been important times of celebration for many years. They invoke ancient ritual and traditionally fires are burned to celebrate the new season. The images on your monthly stars for June are in honour of the Solstice and include images of fire, ritual and prayer.

– In astrology, the June solstice is the day that the Sun enters Cancer.

6. Full Moon Sagittarius

[11 Sagittarius 49] - June 2,3

– June 2nd (17:19) London
– June 2nd (12:19) New York
– June 3rd (02:19) Sydney
– Full Moons are another great excuse for partying and celebration, when the light of the moon is at its brightest. Full Moon parties and rituals go on around the world on beaches and in temples. These celebrations link back to the time when our Gods were the Sun and Moon.

– This Full Moon falls in the fire sign, Sagittarius, known for its hedonism and love of life. Sagittarius was born to look on the bright side and to remain optimistic even in the face of adversity. This is the feel-good sign that stands up for truth and justice.

– Full Moons are the time to trust your intuition, when you see your situation with clarity as the Full Moon is big and bright in the dark of the night sky. Events come to completion, there’s a sense of fullness, ripeness, maturity about the Full Moon. Notice what you’re feeling as your gut instincts can guide you in the month ahead.

7. Saturn Moves Back Into Scorpio

– June 15th

– It’s true that the planet Saturn isn’t exactly connected with the feel-good factor but this is an important planetary transit and Saturn at least gives you a breather for a few months wherever it’s been focused in your chart.

– Saturn was in Scorpio from October 2012 – December 2014 when it entered the fire sign Sagittarius. Saturn dips back into the late degrees of Scorpio for three months up until September 18th. This is most powerful for you if you have planets/angles at 28/29 Scorpio.

– Saturn is the taskmaster of the heavens; it represents hard work and effort, discipline and commitment. This might indicate the recurrence of an old issue or problem or the chance to tie up loose ends and bring closure.

– Notice where Saturn is moving away in your chart and where you’re free to speed ahead.

6 Very Important Things To Do After Mercury Retrograde

Mecrury Retrograde

Open mouth, spit out Louboutin. At 5:33 EST/2:33 PST  Mercury retrograde, that three-week week beast of a technology scrambling, social capital destroying, traffic jamming transit—is over. Ovah. O-V-A-H.

Here are a few things it will be preeeetty much safe to do, now that the planet of communication, technology and transportation is moving along at a brisk forward clip once again.
Of course, Mercury retrograde has a “shadow” period, so you may still feel the effects for a couple of weeks (until June 28 this time) while the mischievous planet straightens itself out. Naughty children weren’t reformed in an hour, you know.
But still, go on and liberate yourself from these retrograde burdens because later today, Mercury is direct (forward)—and this is a safe space. Maybe like this:

1. Upgrade your iPhone to iOs-whatever.

(Really, Apple? We are fairly certain Pisces Steve Jobs would never approve a software update during Mercury retrograde and is soul-shaming you from tech-bubble heaven.)

2. Go somewhere.

If you’ve been wearing the Mercury retrograde bodysuit—or a symbolic version—slide out of that itchy knitwear and leave the house. In a vehicle. On a bike. By plane. If it has wheels, you can ride it now. Whee!

3. Keep it real.

Tell your friend in, like, the most loving and honest way, that you really, really dislike their haircut, gum snapping, heavy breathing, Grammys interrupting, or whatever [insert obnoxious habit here]. Breathe a sigh of relief when they FINALLY don’t suspect that you really mean you want to sleep with them or steal their job.
Here, some awesome tips from our friend Saige Winters:

4. Sign your name.

Believe the hype—unless you were born during Mercury retrograde (find out by doing a chart here), and even if you were, some of the contracts, leases, deals and whatnot that get inked during Mercury retrograde can turn out to be seriously flawed down the line, unless you really, REALLY read the fine print.

5. Tell a fantastical story.

Go on, regale your audience with tales from that time with the helicopter and your heroic escape. Share it on national news, even. The truth won’t leak out until the next Mercury retrograde.

6. Get creative: find a new excuse for screwing up.

The delayed train and traffic gridlock has no ready source of blame. You were late. You sexted your client instead of your crush. You dropped your phone in the toilet and there’s no Apple insurance for that (see item 1 re: Steve Jobs #RIP). And now you can’t pin it on the planets.  Damn, damn, DAMN. “Mercury is retrograde” won’t cut it anymore.
Thanx to fabulous Astro Twins

AstroChill Update! Mercury goes Direct

Happy Mercury Direct!

Mercury goes Direct

Mercury goes direct today at 3:33 pm PDT at 4 degrees Gemini! Its time to move forward with the energy and lessons that we have been working on and with since the beginning of May!

The Moon in Aries taking part in another Grand Trine in Fire is ready for forward momentum and action! This is good because change is in the air, moving forward into the week, we have Neptune going retrograde and Saturn retrograding back into Scorpio. The Moon will meet up with Pluto, Jupiter, Uranus, Mars and the Sun through the day, reminding us of our I AM lessons. I am patient may be a good reminder for you today. Even though Mercury is going Direct, it will still be in the shadow and it takes some time to get the forward momentum going! Respect and nurture your process and that of everyone else! (by Gaia Blooming)

Always up to date Maria DeSimone says:
If you've spent the last three weeks or so feeling mentally scrambled, misunderstood or just plain indecisive, relief is near. That's because Mercury, the planet that rules the mind, is turning direct on June 11, 2015, after having gone through another one of its retrograde phases.

So, what does it mean when Mercury goes direct?

When Mercury is not operating smoothly there can be plenty of mishaps related to anything ruled by Mercury -- whether its transportation, commerce or communication. Now that Mercury has stationed direct, it will need a few days to regulate its orbit and then you'll be good to go. Any delay, frustration or confusion surrounding Mercury-ruled matters will soon find resolution.

A planet changing motion is a potent phenomenon. Remember, Mercury has been out of its usual forward orbit for three weeks, so turning direct again will not be as easy as declaring "On your mark, get set, go!" and watching Mercury zoom out. Ahhh, if only it were that simple.

What really happens when a planet moves from retrograde to direct motion is more akin to waking up from a deep slumber. Mercury will need time to drink some cosmic coffee and fully regain consciousness.

Full speed ahead

It won't be until Mercury reaches the degree where it originally turned retrograde and then passes it that you'll know Mercury truly has its full strength back. That tends to take a couple of weeks. But don't stress -- this time frame is nothing at all like the Mercury Retrograde cycle.

In fact, now you'll be ready to apply whatever it is you've learned during the retrograde period into your current reality. It only takes a few days of Mercury being back on track for you to notice the difference. From here on out the planet will get stronger every day!

What's interesting is that while Mercury will need time to regulate its orbit, the very day of its stationing direct can be a potent time. It's like Merc will be jolted awake for a short time (remember Mom screaming at you to wake up or you'll be late for school?). During this day or even the next, it's likely you'll experience incredible clarity about whatever issues you've been grappling with during Mercury Retrograde.

Be patient, though … it will take just a little more time before you're ready to execute your newfound lucidity with success.

In the meantime, now that Mercury is direct, over the next few days you are free to sign contracts, schedule vital meetings, have a significant conversation and make important decisions or purchases. Remain confident as you push ahead with anything that requires cerebral muscle.

Mercury finally has its mojo back!

Astro Alert! Mercury Direct, Neptun Retrograde!

Some goes direct Some goes retrograde!

Mercury Direct, Neptun Retrograde

Busy, busy butterfly! That's what you'll be this week with all of the cosmic twists and turns happening. Get ready, get set ... go!

Monday, June 8: Sun in Gemini sextile Jupiter

Tuesday, June 9: Mars in Gemini sextile Uranus

On Monday the Sun will be at a friendly sextile to Jupiter, expanding your optimism and faith. A sextile between Mars and Uranus on Tuesday will help you take action in an unconventional way to achieve your goals successfully.
See what's next during this week's back-and-forth energy! Get a Personalized Astrology Forecast.

Wednesday, June 10: Mercury Retrograde in Gemini sextile Venus; Sun sextile Uranus

On Wednesday Mercury will be "at station" on its way to turning direct, which means he's not moving in the sky, but sitting still and preparing to make a turn. Planets at station are powerful, and on this day Mercury will be at a gorgeous sextile to Venus. It appears that you'll feel ready to make a decision about your love life or a financial matter. Try to sit with it for just awhile longer. If you wait until after Mercury turns direct (the very next day) to execute plans, there's a better chance for success. Still, you'll feel strong about knowing what to do.
Also on Wednesday the Sun will sextile Uranus. It's time to show the world just how original you can be. There's a reward in store if you're willing to showcase that eccentric part of you so go ahead -- what are you waiting for?

Friday, June 12: Neptune Retrograde

On Friday Neptune turns retrograde. Outer planets are retrograde for half of the year, and usually this isn't a major astrological happening. Still, in the day or two following Neptune Retrograde you might begin to feel more comfortable with your subconscious self. Pay attention to dreams and other breakthroughs that are possible during hypnosis, a psychic session or during therapy.

Sunday, June 14: Sun conjunct Mars; Saturn Retrograde enters Scorpio

On Sunday the Sun will conjunct Mars in Gemini, so you can expect an overabundance of mental energy that helps you walk your talk. What will you do with it?
Last but not least, on Sunday we'll experience Saturn backsliding into Scorpio again for his "last licks" in this sign. Saturn will remain in Scorpio until September 17, and during this time we'll have one final opportunity to work through some hard lessons relating to intimacy, financial responsibility, and skeletons in our closets.

Astro Alert! Venus in Leo

Venus in Leo

Hollah! Can you hear romance calling? When Venus moves into Leo from June 6 to July 18, 2015, love will be shouting its name from the rooftops.

Venus is the planet of relationships, and Leo is very dramatic, so this combination of Venus in Leo is definitely going to make your romantic life more colorful -- and that applies to both couples and singles
Venus has been in cuddly Cancer since May 7, so romance has been sweet and sentimental. Lovers have been staying home, cuddling and bonding over intimate conversations, while singles may have been feeling a little more lonely than usual.

But all that changes now, as the love planet comes to life in Leo. It's time to stir up some excitement and get back out on the town.

Venus in Leo is a great time to flirt up a storm and meet someone new, or to put the excitement back into your relationship if you feel it's been lacking some va-va-voom.

Leo is a Fire sign that's all about drama and creativity and speaking from the heart, so this energy lights up love like a torch.

Expect playful dates, loud declarations of love, and maybe even a few jealous tantrums. Big feelings will be expressed now, one way or another!
There's little subtlety about this combination, because the planet of relationship and beauty is passing through the sign of dramatic expression. Expect your romantic life to be a bit more colorful these days, regardless of your birth chart.

Leo, a Fire sign, is about risk. So, Venus' placement here is a reminder to take some chances with creativity and openings of the heart. Sure, it's possible that you'll go overboard and let your imagination turn a mild flirtation into the love affair of the century. But, that's part of the fun of Venus in Leo.

We're not here now to play it safe, to carefully monitor and control our feelings, but rather to recapture the hopefulness of childhood. This is a time when wounds may be set aside (at least partially), allowing us to let love flow without restriction or fear. Excesses are possible, even likely, but a truly open heart only leads to greater opportunities to share, connect and create.

Venus in Leo reminds us that we need to be adored now, not just simply liked or appreciated. Pride expands, which can, of course, lead to hurt feelings if one does not receive adequate recognition. Be generous in giving praise, while allowing others to show their appreciation of you, as well. The challenge here is to combine the willfulness of Leo with the responsiveness of Venus. Successful relationships are based on listening, something worth remembering at this time.

The dramatic expression of Venus in Leo can be readily seen through a collection of people who exemplify this combination. The wildly inventive Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi ("gaudy") personifies the joyous creativity of Venus in Leo. Show biz icons Lauren Bacall, Bob Fosse, Barbara Walters and Tom Cruise are also part of this group.

Gestalt guru Fritz Perls was born with Venus in Leo, as were designers Joshua Logan and Pierre Cardin, author Jacqueline Susann, artist Andy Warhol, financier Michael Milken and magician David Copperfield.

Venus in Leo includes superstar performers Whitney Houston, Madonna, Michael Jackson and Paula Abdul. With Venus in Leo, Amy Fisher, Xaviera Hollander, John Holmes, Jessica Hahn and Pamela Anderson have achieved fame through sex. Yet, the higher side of Venus in Leo love is found in the charts of the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa and Mary Baker Eddy.

2015 Summer Love Horoscopes

Learning lessons in love

2015 Summer Love Horoscopes

This summer starts off with a heavy dose of passionate sunshine but just when you think you're home free things may start to take a turn. Venus, the planet of love and relationships, is due for her retrograde phase and it'll take place between July 25 and September 6.
As a result, for most of the summer it'll be more about learning lessons in love than enjoying hot and heavy endless summer nights. Try not to see this as a total downer though. In fact, there will be a golden opportunity to take stock of where you are along your personal romantic journey and appreciate it in a whole new light. Try not to focus exclusively on how far you have yet to travel, but also acknowledge how far you've come. And with Venus retrograde in Leo remember the ultimate lesson she is trying to teach all of us: self-love. Read more about what this summer has in store for your love potential by checking out your sign's forecast!

Aries Horoscope

You, more than any other sign, will likely look back at this summer and realize pivotal developments occurred in your love life -- the kind that changes the landscape of it forever. Everything looks as happy as can be as the summer kicks off. Both Venus and Jupiter -- the two benefic planets -- will move together through your 5th House of True Love and Pleasure. Jupiter leaves on August 11 but Venus will hang around for quite some time. Pay attention to events near June 29 when Venus connects perfectly to Uranus, now in your sign. A happy, unexpected development in love can take you to new heights.

Things begin to turn on June 14 however when Venus squares off with Saturn. Perhaps you're struggling in a romantic relationship that you prefer to keep lighthearted and fun, while your lover wants something deeper. Suddenly the party appears to be over and the two of you will need to figure out if this is a summer fling or something more substantial.

No matter what's happening in your love life, you'll have plenty of time to figure things out once Venus moves retrograde back into your 5th house on July 31. Until September 6, you will be forced to re-assess your love life situation as well as your capacity to give love to someone. If opening your heart has been difficult this retrograde, it will hurt just enough to challenge you to overcome what is holding you back the most in the love department. Ready or not, here it comes. Are you strong enough to love with all you've got? The Universe thinks so. Mars will be moving into Leo and your 5th house between August 8 and September 24, giving you the heart of a warrior.

Taurus Horoscope

On July 18, love planet Venus will be making a short appearance in your true love sector. You might be convinced a grand romance is about to get off the ground but the truth is, there's not enough steam to get anything moving in the direction you'd like. The problem is that Venus will enter your romance sector and immediately begin slowing down, preparing to turn retrograde on July 25. Although it seems as if you have some type of action potential in the romance department, you may quickly realize that your attention needs to remain focused on a domestic situation. A relative might need your support as he or she struggles to resolve a problem that you thought was resolved. This situation will likely take up so much energy that until Venus turns direct on September 6, matters of the heart will not be a priority at all.

Don't worry about your summer turning into a major dud as far as romance goes. See this instead as a vital cycle you need to go through to fix a major family situation once and for all so that after September 6, you can once again focus on your love life. The opportunity won't be lost -- and you'll see this for yourself after September 13 when a gorgeous Solar Eclipse lights up your true love sector. By then, lucky Jupiter will also be in the same part of your chart (he enters your 5th house on August 11 and you just might experience the greatest love of your life!

Gemini Horoscope

This summer will have some bright spots as well as potentially cloudy weather when it comes to romance. The good news is that from the start of the summer until July 18, Venus will move direct in your 3rd House of Communication. You'll have a gorgeous opportunity to get to know someone special through stimulating conversations that last until the wee hours of the morning.

The problem is that Venus, which rules your true love sector, will turn retrograde on July 25 and will not turn direct until September 6. This is like throwing a wet blanket over the flames of fire that any summer romance has to offer. You might have trouble making up your mind when it comes to any important decision you and your partner must make together. If you're talking about deepening the relationship or making any kind of commitment on paper, this will be a time of heavy revisions and second guessing. Do your best not to make final decisions on anything that involves you and your sweetie signing contracts together.

Then, from September 17 until early fall, Mercury will turn retrograde right in your true love sector. You might end up communicating with an ex and wondering whether or not the two of you should give things a second chance. This will also make it difficult for you and your partner to agree on a vital decision that involves one of your children if you have any together. Perhaps the best course of action for you this summer is to go with the flow. When it comes to love, take things as they are and live in the moment. But don't ignore the lessons.

Cancer Horoscope

For the better part of the summer you'll feel sexier than ever! On June 24 until August 8, Mars, the planet of assertive energy and the planet ruling libido, will move through your sign. This is a once in two year event, so don't waste its amazing potential. For starters, anything you initiate during this time will likely succeed since you'll have unparalleled stamina and confidence. Your sexual energy will be high and it's likely that you'll put out vibes to someone you're attracted to without even realizing it. The good news is that it'll be almost impossible to resist you during this time. So if there's someone you have your eye on go ahead and make that first move!

There are two "ouch" days when it comes to love that you'll want to make note of. This will be especially difficult if you're single or newly dating someone. On July 14 and again on August 4, Venus will square off with Saturn. Loneliness or disappointment in matters of the heart are possible.

If you're in a committed relationship, pay attention to events that happen near the Full Moon on July 1. It'll fall in your partnership sector and things between you and your mate are likely to be extra emotionally charged. If you and your love are at a breaking point as a couple this might be a time you decide to spend time apart in order to think things through. Or, you may end the relationship altogether. Either way, this Full Moon signals a vital turning point between you and your partner.

Fortunately, a New Moon in your sign on July 15 will help infuse you with even more optimism for a brighter tomorrow. If you and your partner have decided to stick it out, this lunation will help clean the slate and allow you to begin anew in life and love. Yes!

Leo Horoscope

Make the most of early summer Leo because the Universe has a major lesson in store for you when it comes to matters of the heart. But first, the good news. Until July 18, love planet Venus will continue moving direct in your sign making you the "fairest of them all." Your magnetism will be irresistible and you may also decide that it's time to spruce up your appearance. Go ahead -- use this time to strut your stuff and get noticed!

Once July 31 hits, everything takes on a different tone. Venus will have gone retrograde and on this day she'll backpedal into your sign again, where she will remain in retrograde motion until September 6. During this time, you might second guess everything you thought you knew as it relates to partnership and romantic matters. You might have a major lesson that involves learning more about what you have to offer a person in a relationship that isn't so much on the outside but rather, within.

If you're trying to buy love, that tactic will likely blow up in your face now, leaving you struggling with feelings of worthlessness. You're meant to learn that you are good enough to love and be loved without all of the fanfare, bells and whistles. This may not be an easy lesson but if you're able to work through it you might find on the other side an opportunity for true, meaningful love. Mars enters your sign on August 8 and remains there until September 24, giving you the courage to pursue love in a way you might have been too afraid to in the past.

Virgo Horoscope

Are you struggling with a romantic relationship that, for one reason or another, you feel must be kept under wraps? If you're involved in a secret affair or, if you're pining away for someone you know you can't truly be with, then this summer has a few lessons in store. On July 25, love planet Venus turns retrograde in your sign and on July 31, she'll slide back into Leo and your 12th House of "All That's Hidden." Until September 6, you might have a bit of soul searching to do connected to a romantic relationship that's either unhealthy to be in or more of a fantasy than reality. If you're caught up in a situation like this, it's time to ask yourself why you think it's good enough for you. Don't you deserve a relationship that has substance? A relationship that you can shout out to the world you're actually in?

Perhaps there's a deeper issue at work that you'll need to muddle through. Maybe, your fear of love and of being hurt in love is so overwhelming that you put yourself in a position where you are always loving someone from a safe enough distance, thinking you're protecting your heart. You're only fooling yourself if you think that's the case and this summer, you'll need to face these issues head on. The good news is that a Solar Eclipse in Virgo on September 13 will be your personal fresh start in all areas -- including relationships.

Libra Horoscope

The summer will kick off with plenty of thrilling potential for romance and pleasure! Social opportunities will be abundant. If you're single, you'll have an excellent chance to meet someone special at a party, or other fun event. Pay attention to June 29 for sparks to fly if you're in a relationship. On that day, love planet Venus will be at a gorgeous angle to the electrifying Uranus. Make the most of this stimulating aspect and dare to do something with your partner that takes both of you out of your comfort zone.

Until July 18, you'll enjoy opportunities to make a romantic connection with someone through your social life. Pay close attention to developments on July 1, when Venus and Jupiter embrace. A friend may offer to set you up with someone and it's also possible that you'll entertain the prospect of going from friends to lovers with a close pal. If you do make a move in this direction however, expect some re-adjustments between July 31 and September 6 when Venus moves retrograde through your friendship sector. Another possibility, is that one of your friends will meddle with your love life so much that it threatens to damage it. If a situation like this arises you might end up breaking up with your friend.

Mercury will also retrograde in your sign as the summer draws to a close. After September 17, be especially careful how you communicate to your partner. Messages can easily be misconstrued.

Scorpio Horoscope

With Saturn moving through the final degrees of your sign until September 17, getting things right in the relationship department has a certain sense of urgency. You know that time is running out and if things have been rocky between you and your partner, something must change this summer or else the relationship may no longer be salvageable. A specific problem that you might have with your mate, is feeling a lack of support as you pursue a professional goal or re-evaluate your career prospects entirely. He or she might not be doing much to boost your ego during a time when it may be quite fragile. Insecurities about your future career path might prompt you to put up higher walls -- walls that only frustrate your partner even more. Decisions need to happen near July 14 and again on August 5 when Venus squares off with Saturn. You might be in a position where you have to deal with something professionally out of financial necessity. Resentment in your relationship may continue to build throughout the summer if you aren't able to take a step back and untangle the knot that somehow complicated your love life.

If single, a Full Moon on August 29 might bring feelings for someone special to a new level of awareness. It's possible that a romance could blossom once you acknowledge your spiritual connection with this person.

Sagittarius Horoscope

From June 24 until August 8 you may feel a strong urge to go deeper in your relationship -- both physically and psychologically. You and your partner might have a great connection but intimacy is a delicate process that continues to unfold over time. This summer, it's likely that you will make it a priority to go where you have not dared go before. This might also have to do with a drive to explore a more taboo or erotic side of your sexuality with your partner. If you've feared doing this in the past, thinking it would scare off your mate, now you may change your mind. One thing is certain -- your sex life will have a significant opportunity for enrichment!

Pay attention to romantic opportunity on June 29 and again on August 19. If single, it's possible that someone who is not your usual type will completely enthrall you. Also, on July 1, a delicious love connection is possible as you embark on a new adventure that will expand your horizons. If you miss the boat on July 1, you'll have another opportunity on August 4. After September 17, don't bother talking to your friends about your love life. They might only offer unwanted, confusing advice.

Capricorn Horoscope

If you're married or in a committed relationship, things are about to heat up this summer! On June 24 and until August 8, Mars will move through your partnership sector. This event only happens once every two years and during this time you'll be motivated to spice things up in your love life. There's a good chance that you'll stir the pot more and initiate arguments. It's also possible that you'll come across as more selfish during this time which may infuriate your partner. Still, the good news is that if there's anything you and your partner need to work through it will not be swept under the rug. And the makeup sex? Off the charts! A New Moon in the same part of your chart on July 15 will stimulate a fresh start in your relationship. Or, if you're dating someone, it's possible you'll decide to make it exclusive.

On July 8, you'll have a rare and incredible capacity to be on the same page spiritually, intellectually and physically with your mate. Don't waste it! Pay close attention to Venus as she retrogrades through your 8th House of Joint Finances between July 31 and September 6. It's possible that you and your partner will have to re-evaluate money matters that have to do with sharing resources, debt or investments. Don't make new investments together during this time and if you're newly dating someone wait until this phase is over before you make the decision to move in together or start sharing bills.

Aquarius Horoscope

It's time to seriously re-evaluate where you are in your marriage or committed relationship and to patch up any holes there might be in your union. Also, if you're dating someone you might have second thoughts (or cold feet) about whether or not you should commit. Love planet Venus will turn retrograde on July 25 and between July 31 and September 6, she'll move retrograde in your 7th House of Partnership. This is a significant opportunity to figure out whether or not you're going through the motions in a relationship or if you're truly connected with your mate on a heart level.

It's possible that you'll experience a test during this time that leaves you wondering just how strong your bond is. The thing to remember, is that if the two of you truly have love and mutual respect for one another you will not only get through this time, but you will come out of it stronger than ever. Remember, you'll also have Jupiter continuing to help ameliorate any potential difficulties in this area of your life -- and that is true until August 11. Use this to your advantage. You'll have both of the lucky planets in the zodiac supporting your relationship potential! Even if Venus is retrograde it doesn't have to symbolize trouble. It may actually symbolize the resolution of a situation that the two of you didn't know how to fix in the past. August 14 is a gorgeous new beginning for you in your relationship. Also, be sure to take advantage of Venus and Jupiter embracing in your partnership sector on July 1 and again on August 4. Love can and will conquer all!

Pisces Horoscope

This will most certainly be an eventful summer for you when it comes to love and relationships. First, whether you're single or attached, get ready for passion! Mars, the planet of assertiveness, will enter your 5th House of Romance and Pleasure on June 24. He remains there until August 8 and during this time your number one priority will be having FUN! Your sex life will become much more eventful. If you're partnered up, expect to have much more fun in bed. If single, there will be no shortage of opportunity to "get your groove back." A New Moon in your true love sector on July 15 might bring someone special into your life if you are currently unattached. Make the most of social opportunities!

The major headline news for you however, will happen on August 11. That's when Jupiter, the planet of gifts and blessings, will enter your 7th House of Partnership for the first time in twelve years! For the next year, you will enjoy a special dose of protection and happiness potential in your relationship. If things are already going well between you and your partner you can expect them to get even better. You might decide to move in with someone, get engaged or even marry under this influence. If, however, you're not in a good place in your relationship, this transit won't heal what is already broken. On a positive note, if a relationship ends during this time it will most likely end peacefully. Pay attention to the Solar Eclipse in your 7th house on September 13. A whole new world might open up for you in your relationship. Wow!
